SINGING IN THE RAIN ... Adjusting to the tough field conditions in Ajax, the U8 Man U boys lost their 1st game to the host club 3-2. The boys then went on to win their next 3 games beating Mississuaga Falcons 3-1, edging both Toronto Olympic Flames 5-4 and Pickering 1-0 to top Group B and make the semis. Next up were the top rated North Toronto Nitros. In a close tight match, back and forth (0-0 at half) the game ended 3-1 for the Nitros who went on to win the tournament. Not to leave empty handed the Man U boys all received a very nice Ajax medal for their efforts.

The Man U boys did the club and the city of London proud in their gutsy performance, coach Steve had 14 players which include 2 underagers (boys born in 01) and managed to get everyone into the games. The boys bonded well as a team off the field as they had a great/fun time at the hotel hanging out, playing mini sticks, watching a movie and playing tag in the halls.

Tournaments like this are a great experience for the competition we played, the friendships we enjoyed and the bonding we had as a team.

Well done Man U boys on a great performance making the semis of a tough tournament!!!
